Resident tickets cannot be resold or bought for profit
Our community is privileged in the way it benefits from Leeds Festival, the generosity of Melvin Benn and the Festival Republic organisation. We receive a substantial allocation of resident tickets allowing residents, their families and close friends to attend the festival. The donations made against these tickets have for many years been used to secure some significant benefits for the entire village.
The publicity we have already put out makes it quite clear that no one should abuse the ticketing system. Tickets cannot be resold and residents must not buy tickets for others with the intention of making a profit.
If we identify misuse, tickets will be withdrawn, access to the festival denied and the residents involved will be barred from purchasing tickets in future years.
