Welcome to Thorner Mexborough Cricket Club
Thorner Mexborough Cricket Club (or TMCC as we like to call it!) fields two sides in the Wetherby & District Cricket League – and increasingly can boast one the most beautiful grounds in Yorkshire following many improvements through the aid of the village community fund and the help of cricket club members.

We welcome cricketers, young and old, good and not-so-good, all you need is a love of the game, a competitive spirit and a natural club ethos (plus, as we are sponsored by the local pubs, an ability to enjoy a pint is useful though not obligatory!!). If you are interested in joining us, please contact any club official at the numbers listed below.
We start the season on 19th April and carry on right through to mid-September. We will also be hosting some 20/20 fund raisers; keep an eye out in the village for more details.
Winter Nets
Winter nets are being run at Lawnswood Cricket School in Tadcaster on Sundays at 7 and Wednesdays at 9 (although subject to change so please see website for details).
Club Sponsorship
We are eternally grateful to our club sponsors, The Beehive for their support. We also have sponsorship from Yorkshire Building Ltd, and Timeline Taxis. We’re looking for new sponsors and have lots of opportunities for advertising at the ground, online etc., so if you’d like to help out with sponsorship, please be in touch, running a cricket club needs more money every season!

Ground
You are all welcome to pop up and say hello any Saturday in the season to watch the cricket or just see the great improvements we have made to the ground.
150 Club
The easiest way to help out the club is to commit to £1 per month for the 150 club where you stand a chance of winning the top prize of £40 EVERY MONTH! Just drop a line or phone any club official (below).
Leeds Festival Ticket Raffle
This season we will have A PAIR OF VIP TICKETS for Leeds Festival, courtesy of Festival Republic which we will be raffling to help raise funds for the club. Keep your eyes peeled around the village for more details and the grand raffle in July.
