Next Saturday 21 September from 10.45 to 13.15 the Yorkshire Association of Change Ringers will be holding the finals of the regional Striking Competition at St Peters Church. During the year bands from all over Yorkshire have competed in regional branch competitions and this event on Saturday is between the regional winners. The Leeds Branch will be represented by the team from Leeds Minster (our local Thorner team aren’t there yet!). Each team will ring 240 rows on 6 bells and can be either call changes, doubles with a cover or a minor method. Confused?
