Thorner Firework Festival is back for 2019 on Saturday 2 November from 6pm!
After many years successfully supporting the Victory Hall and raising the roof, the bonfire and fireworks are off to Thorner Cricket Club to support our cricket team and the school PTA. This year we are doing the groundwork for an even bigger and better event to help the cricket club replace the fencing around their pitch and the football field that has gone beyond seeing better days, and to help the school improve their outdoor provision by building a large shelter and adding exciting new educational equipment.
The Victory Hall supports the move whole-heartedly and will be providing a hand getting the festival off the ground in a much bigger location. The cricket club has more outdoor space for a better view of the roaring bonfire and awesome fireworks. The barbecue and bar will be there again, as will the Scouts with their sparklers.
2019 will see the most ambitious pyrotechnics show yet. For the first few hundred tickets sold, the advance price will be the same as last year, but be warned we are planning to selling tickets online and in advance only. Booking fees apply. Tickets are available now at tickets.thornerfire.work
